World Championships 2013

The 2013 Pokemon TCG World Championships are the culmination of the entire 2012/2013 season, bringing together the best PTCG players from around the world to represent their countries on the world stage.

This year the championships will be held in Vancouver, Canada on the 9th – 11th of August.

Vancouver Convention Centre

The event is invitation only. In Australia a player can only receive an invitation by earning 200 or more Championship Points (CPs). In addition to this, the winner of the Australian National Championships in each age division also receives a travel award, which covers flights and accommodation for the event.

This year in Australia 12 Masters, 8 Seniors, and 4 Juniors qualified for Worlds invitations. We hope to see a strong Australian turn out at the event and wish Team Australia the best of luck representing our country! Master players who qualified are listed below:

You’ll find I should be on that list too (212CP) as Canberra Regionals hasn’t been fixed yet. Top 8 is pretty messed up from that.

Yep, its a shame how out of date / incorrect the data from the official pokemon website is. I’ll add you in as a mention until they fix it 😉 . Its also the reason we’re going to be tracking the information ourselves next season: http://www.acetrainerau.com/player-leaderboard/

I had to wait about 6 months for the points from a City Championship to be uploaded.

      I was sweating 🙁
